ARTSCAPE: Art in a Landscape Studio Tour
Saturday and Sunday, May 17 & 18, 2008, from 10 AM – 4 PM.
ARTSCAPE features the work of 14 artists from Columbia County and offers a
unique opportunity for art lovers to see outstanding works of art in
the studios in which they were created. These are private spaces that are
open to the public exclusively for this event.

Various approaches to painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking
and mixed media installations come to life with this unique group of
artists. This year's tour brings together the talents of Allyson
Strafella (Hudson), Dawn Breeze (Hudson), Georgia Ranney (Valatie),
Dan Devine (At Art Omi, Ghent), Fred Jones (Hudson), Giovanni diMola
(Hudson), Ieva Mediodia (Hudson), Karen Halverson (North Chatham), Ken
Polinskie (Claverack), Martha Lloyd (Germantown), Mimi Czajka
Graminski (Red Hook), Mona Mark (Malden Bridge), Myron Polenberg
(Hudson) and Sarah Sterling (Hudson). Many of these artists are well
known and show in New York and around the country. All are
enthusiastic about sharing their work in their studios with visitors
on the tour and engaging in dialogue about their art. Most of the work
in the studios is available for purchase. Artscape Studio Tour tickets
are $25 per person.
